FOUNDER OF GYNO CHIROPRACTIC
As an integrative women's health chiropractor, I've spent over thirteen years focusing my work on female pelvic health, rooted in the profound connection between the pelvic floor, the spine, and the overall health of the body.
Early in my education, I noticed a significant lack of quality care for female health within the chiropractic field. After earning my chiropractic degree, I made it my mission to specialize in the female pelvis, using the gentlest, most honoring techniques. I focused on how the pelvic floor interacts with the spine and how trauma manifests in the body, particularly in ways that affect women’s health.
My practice initially centered around pelvic floor myofascial release, a non-invasive approach to addressing musculoskeletal issues many haven’t considered hands-on care for, such as stress incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and recovery from pregnancy and childbirth. This work also supports scar tissue healing and enhances both physical and creative fertility.
As my expertise deepened, I expanded beyond the pelvic floor to integrate the entire myofascial system. I studied trauma-informed somatic practices and learned how to support the body’s natural ability to heal through a holistic approach. Over time, I embraced trauma resilience, nervous system healing, and the esoteric feminine healing arts, which led me to a profound reverence for the female body and its energetic system.
This journey has taught me the art of deep listening—tuning into the body’s needs in a way that honors its complexity and inherent wisdom. After years of focused study and clinical integration, I developed the Gyno Chiropractic method, which I now teach to fellow chiropractors to extend this care to more women.
Too often, women are told to live with issues like incontinence, menstrual pain, and low back pain—but this simply isn’t true. The body is an incredible self-healing organism, and with the right bodywork and self-care practices, we can remove the interference and help it return to its natural state of health and balance.
